    Just back from NGC! One of the more available New Orleans Eagles, the 1847-O becomes decidedly tougher in this state of preservation. This is one of two specimens graded AU58+ at NGC; none have graded as such at PCGS.
    This coin has a stronger strike and better appearance than many technically higher-grade coins. There is absolutely
    no
    softness in strike in the centers as is typically encountered with this issue.
